Successful graduates celebrate at Leabank School

The second course running at Leabank School came to end with graduates being awarded their certificates this November.  Principal Rex Maddren praised their hard work and dedication, and thanked tutor Carol MacDonald and community coordinator Julie Segi for their contribution.

Roscommon Principal praises graduates

Principal Sonia Johnstone was addressing Computers in Homes graduates at their special event which was held at the Manurewa RSA on 17 November 2016.  She acknowledged the support of the Board of Trustees, and thanked Christina Patea, the tutor, for her hard work and dedication, over and above her responsibilities.

She also talked about the role of computers in the future of education and advised parents to continue on their journey of learning.

After speeches and presentations, everyone enjoyed a delicious meal and some cake!

Feasting at Leabank Primary School

A new crop of students graduated at Leabank Primary School this week. Speeches and congratulations were delivered by the course tutor, Val Pora, and the two Board of Trustee guests, Vienna Parker and Suresa Tefuga.

A beautiful spread of food was provided as well as the Computers in Homes cake which was enjoyed by all those present.

Mansell Senior School Graduation and Big News!

I was thrilled to attend the latest graduation at Mansell Senior School on Wednesday 12 October.  Principal Bec KauKau gave an inspiring speech congratulating the new graduates.  She also announced the name change of the school in 2017 to 'Papakura Intermediate School' which received positive feedback from the audience.
A feast was offered which was a hit with graduates and visitors alike.

Rosehill College parents graduate!

Four lucky families graduated on Monday 15 August, collecting certificates and a free computer. Director of Elearning Leanne Lamb, thanked the parents for their hard work and dedication to the course which was taught by Jo Parker and Miriroa Tua.  Certificates were awarded by Principal Sue Blakely.
